Step 1: Download MT4
- Go to your broker’s official website (most brokers provide a free MT4 download link).
- Look for a “Download MT4” button, usually under the Platforms section.
- Click the link to download the installer file (https://www.metatrader4.com/en/download).
Step 2: Run the Installer
- Locate the downloaded file (mt4setup.exe) in your Downloads folder.
- Double-click the file to start the installation wizard.
- A security pop-up may appear — click Run or Yes to continue.
Step 3: Accept the License Agreement
- The installer will show you the End User License Agreement.
- Read through (optional, but recommended) and click Next to proceed.
- By default, MT4 will install into the C:\Program Files (x86)\MetaTrader 4folder.
